MONTREAL - Quarterback Marcus Brady has decided to retire after seven CFL seasons and become the receivers coach with the Montreal Alouettes.

He was mainly used as a backup after breaking into the league with the Toronto Argonauts in 2002. Brady completed 246-of-469 passes for 3,321 yards and 15 touchdowns in 107 career games with the Argos, Alouettes and Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

He also carried the ball 122 times for 679 yards and six touchdowns.
