He's getting absolutely tattooed out there. 6 runs in 3 innings including a grand slam. He's nervous and it shows. The change-up is still there, but
his control is way off.

I just checked his stats from this game. He only surrendered 3 hits and 4 walks in 5 innings. Yes, the GS by the DH (his 14th on the year) hurt him and all
the runs were earned. He also had 4 strikeouts. Let's not give-up on the kid just yet. I'm sure he'll get another couple of starts in AA.
Let's see how he does in those games.

I didn't mean to imply giving up on him at all. He was clearly nervous and his control suffered because of it. He'll settle down. Besides, Frisco is
the Rangers AA team and that organization always go after big bats. Tough team to face on your first outing.

Scotty's second start in AA went better (as I anticipated) and he earned the win. Recognize the mid-relief pitcher for Northwest Arkansas in this game?
