Based on the Goodman Blog, it appears you have two transfers coming in. Harrison Gaines, a 6'0 foot guard from U Penn and Kareem Nitoto, a 6'2 guard from Hawaii. Both were sophomores.

Thanks for the heads up. Here's the link: http://community.foxsport...11/UPDATED_TRANSFER_LIST
These guys are kind of interesting. I'm not seeing any immediate 1st team Big West candidate here, but both of them have been playing 20+ minutes a game the last two years at D1 schools more or less the same level as ours, so they'll bring some much needed experience after our large senior class graduates next year. Unusual transfer situation as they're obviously not transferring for lack of minutes - they've both been getting solid minutes at their old teams but now they'll have to compete with each other and a senior Jalonni Diggs for playing time at PG. But will they be on scholarship during their redshirt year? I thought we had a perfect 13 on scholarship for next year, and I haven't heard of anyone else leaving. These guys are obviously scholarship caliber players, but I can't think of any current schollie players that would be worth cutting to get these guys in for 2010-11. |

Wonder why we don't go after USC transfers. There are a bunch of them and we already have the network.
Donte Smith, 5-11, G, Soph., USC - CAL STATE SAN BERNADINO CSUSB? Why? |

Probably because our team has struggled mightily to score points of any kind in the last few years, and a 5'11" backup PG that only shoots .257, with
a negative A/T ratio isn't exactly what we need right now.
http://sports.espn.go.com...r/profile?playerId=41018 I'm glad we got the two that we did. Also, I don't know anything about this guy's academic status, but in general the bounceback transfers that CSUSB tends to collect would never be admitted to UCR.
