Member Posts: 483 04/26/09 6:16 AM	Tags : None The team didn't look as sharp as they can be, but they didn't need it. They will need to bring their "A" game on Thursday vs. Pepperdine! Nua was replaced by Edwards for the third and fourth games...not sure if Nua was being benched, if he was hurt/sick, or if was just a chance to reward Edwards. Edwards, from Alemany H.S. (my alma mater!), played well. The attendance is posted at 1053, but we thought there was closer to 1300-1400 in the Matadome. Strange that it would be announced as smaller, but i wonder if a lot of non-paying alums snuck in after the Grand Reunion. A win against Pepperdine on Thursday should pretty much guarantee a Final Four berth in Utah!! Go Northridge!

Last night, CSUN won two sets with him on the floor, but went 1-1 with him on the bench. We need everyone to give 100% this Thursday against Pepperdine. Question regarding "guarantee a Final Four berth." How many teams are invited to the NCAA Tournament?

Member Posts: 484 04/27/09 2:14 PM	I totally agree with perspixx - if csun beats pepperdine, and uci beats usc, csun and uci will go to the final four. CSUN beat pepperdine 2 out of 3 times and will have beaten them when it matters most - in the mpsf playoffs. Now, if USC beats UCI, then it will be interesting choices... Bottom line, winner of CSUN-pepperdine SHOULD go to the Final Four.
