Next 2 games are against the teams tied for being in the BW cellar (oh, so sad). No reason why we shouldn't sweep this series. We handled Poly pretty
easily last time.... this game shouldn't be any different.

Two must win games this week against teams at the bottom of the conference, with the Poly game being an absolute have to win game. Going back I gotta agree
with Vit about the LB game and the fact that not winning will come back to haunt us. Although, I think they absolutely should have won. LB missed so many
free throws it gave us opportunities over and over late in the game. Anyway, going down the stretch in the final 8 games, the team(s) that loses to Poly will
definitley be kicking themselves. For us, a win tonight will all but guarantee that we make the conference tournament. Three up on Poly with 7 to play and
the tie-breaker in our favor. A loss tonight and we'll be fighting to stay out of the cellar the remaining of conference play. Two wins this week and
we're back in the hunt for either 1 or 2 byes.

CDM,
I am with you that we have what is absolutely a must win game tonight if we want any chance at a bye. In order to secure a bye, we will likely have to win the games against the "bottom feeders" (CP, UCSB, and UCR) and get another couple of wins against the other five teams. This is doable, so long as we don't drop a game to the three aforementioned teams. Unfortunately, losing those sorts of games has been a hallmark of the team in the past. Will this team be any different? Time will tell. D P.S. It is also worth noting that our games against the three "bottom feeders" are all at home, which makes those games all the more crucial to win. |

Both anteater4life and I were 9 points off but the margin of victory tie-breaker goes to myself who had UCI winning by 6 closer than anteater4life having UCI
winning by 12.
The winner is me, fireduppp. I've won 3 straight games, my longest winning streak ever.

I think that a winning streak of 3 is the best ANYONE has done in the 2 years that we've done this. The very fact that your last 3 guesses have been in the single digits is in itself quite impressive. Nice work! I'll update the standings after UCI wipes the floor with UCSTD. |
