According to a reliable source! Anyways we will be taking on Rider who is the first place team in MAAC. They are a good team but very beatable. I think that this is a plus for CSUN.
UCSB also got an ESPN game against Utah state |

I thought we pissed away our opportunity at all this good fun with Chicago State and Fullerton.

Rider was on ESPN Sat. Wonder if anybody taped it. They blew out Siena.

Official press release on espn.com says we won't know until next Monday. Its still possible we could be on 360.

I saw the game on Saturday and I have seen Rider a couple of times on TV this year.
Two words: Jason Thompson. If you haven't heard his name, he's a 6'11 power forward who is a handful. Chitwood and Miller are going to have a tough time trying to keep him in check. He's averaging 20.0 and 11.5 rebounds a game and was one of three NCAA players to average 20 and 10 last season. He had 23 and 21 on Saturday (had a double-double at the half) against Siena. But the key stat is that Thompson has yet to foul out this season, so CSUN fans can expect 40 minutes of him. Don't be surprised if he's in the NBA next year. Should be a good game though - and also means a trip to New Jersey next year. |

Not. He's a 58 percent free throw shooter. Siena was guarding him with a guy who's 6'5" (listed at 6'7"), and they only put him on the line twice.
Rider has no depth. They'll get worn out by CSUN's depth and athleticism. NO on California Props 91, 92, 93, 94, 95, 96, & 97. NO on L.A.'s Measure S.

Right now, I am not sure we can be too confident about anything unless we play Long Beach. Besides LB, our last few games have been against Chicago State, Irvine and Fullerton. We didn't exactly play like world beaters against a middle of the road BW team at home, even in the win. That got me a little concerned because we were healthy (as healthy as we had ever been all season), coming off a monster win v. LBSU and we came out really strong early on - for UCI to keep it close like that, that made me a little nervous going into the Fullerton game.

Sounds great! Not sure Rider has a bus trip prepared, so we should have 1600 Matafans going nuts for espn and the sub-par announcing duo we're sure to get.
