paying to the boards is generally cheaper overall, but there is an ezSupporter option that might be easier and is still pretty cheap.

When the volume levels off here, I'll have a better idea what the cost of this board will be and will post information on the ezboard ezSupporter options and what we think this place will cost.

ezSupporter is $12 per year and then your views don't count on any ezboard you visit while logged in (views are counted on the community stats, but not toward the volume for the board cost). If I remember right basically after the initial cost of the board that covers 10,000 views (for $5/month or so) the views over that amount are 5,000 views per month for $1 per month.

basically because there are users who won't ever do the ezSupporter, there would still be cost here even if all the regular posters were ezSupporter but for some high volume viewers/posters... (em that would be an average of 166 views per day!) it makes sense.

I guess the point is, if you are contributing much more than $12 a year total to all the ezboards you visit, you may want to consider ezSupporter, unless you are just trying to help cover some of the general board/lurker/casual visitor cost. This is also why it shouldn't be hard at $5 or $10 per person to cover the board cost.
