I wouldn't too many eggs in the upset basket csunhoops. Even though their starting PG is out, we're notorious slow starters -- even last year we started off, what 0-6 (I refuse to count CLU as a win). Braswell teams gel late -- probably because the new kids (and we have so many lately with our love for JUCOs) have to buy into the defensive scheme. We're usually very dysfunctional during OOC. On the other hand we are playing a Purdue team that is bringing back most of its last two Big Dance teams and is the best team in the Big Ten. This ain't going to be CSUN v. Memphis in March. However, we need to learn from these games to get us battle tested for BW play.
That said, I hope Braswell's boys prove me wrong and stand up to the Boilers. I mean it could happen. In 2005, Top 5 Michigan State came to play Hawaii as a tune up for the Maui Invitational and stumbled. Matador Up!
