This incident has had it's 15 minutes of fame. It is now passe. The incident du jour is now the Favre "crackback." I find it laughable that people are calling this a dirty play. A guy who was sitting on his butt until a couple of weeks ago and is asked to do something he's never been trained to do is being compared with the likes of Jack Tatum, Conrad Dobler, and Ed Sprinkle? I'm no Favre fan, but that shot barely met the letter of the crackback rule; it didn't even come close to meeting the spirit of it. Sure, a traditional WR stalk block would have been better. But falling back on the usual QB block? Dirty that is not.
