He's definitely on their fast track now - already promoted to AAA after 7 games in AA.

UCR, through Doug Smith and Andrew Checketts, did an outstanding job recruiting and developing pitchers. From 2007, Simmons, Rzepczynski, and Runzler are now in either MLB or at AAA level. Stange is at AA after being drafted in '06, and Reifer was also an '07 draftee in advanced A ball. |

Its pretty crazy to see all these BW players come out and especially those that performed at Riverside. I remember Kurt Suzuki from CSUF was the first for me,
then seeing Runzler, Rep, etc come up is pretty cool. Also seeing Ricky Romero do well is great too.
