Exhibition vs. Scrimmage |

Just wondering what people think is the better option for their team; playing an exhibition game against a DII or lower team or participating in a scrimmage
against another DI team?

It's not really either or. I think most teams do both. I know that Fullerton has a scrimmage scheduled against Pepperdine. It is closed doors of course.
And Fullerton has an exhibition scheduled against Cal State LA. My guess is the same applies to most teams.

A scrimmage is just like a exhibition game in every way except the fans (and perhaps venue). Given that, I'd rather have the team play against one that
much more accurately reflects what they'll face that season. That said, the advantage of the exhibition is that it's a revenue maker.
