Agree, X looked surprisingly good. I also liked the way Ray Cody played. He looks like a pure shooter. Lizarraga spent serious time in the weight room this
summer, he's really bulked up. And I thought Vinnie McGhee looked pretty comfortable with the ball. You can't judge the team by an exhibition
workout, but I have a feeling we'll do just fine in the Big West this season.

How many people showed up? What kind of events did they have? Did people who attended seem excited? Obviously I can't make it out but we didn't have any of these events when I was at CSUN and am happy they do now and am wondering how they turn out. |

Overall the event was a great success. We had a good number of people show up, a lot of them admitted being first year students or first time visitors of the
Matadome. They showed the highlight video (sans sound due to tech difficulties), had pics with the BW trophy, face painting, autographs, prizes.
My favorite part was the signage for the event that says from now on to sit in Section 7 (the Red Rally), you must have your student ID card AND be wearing red. its about time. Also, I won the raffle to go to the Maya Angelou event this Wed. at the Dome. Is it inappropriate for me to ask her for donations for a new Matadome? 28. That there is an institutional pressure for you to wear red in that section. The hard part though is to get them to get into it and cheer. Until things have
changed most games Section 7 was inhabited by cool college students more worried about socializing than focusing on the game.
