Compare just the PSL prices to what BW schools charge just for season tickets. Member Posts: 874 06/29/09 11:01 AM	I read this article in the Daily News yesterday. I think it means the end of my days as a UCLA season ticket holder. We were required to earmark at least $750 of our annual donation to UCLA for athletics in order to get pretty crappy seats. If that goes up, we're done. CSUN used to require an additional $250 donation for chairback seats in section 3 (the center section), but they dropped that a few years ago. Last I heard, section 3 was sold out (even though most of the ticket holders don't show up).

Reserved seats $90 bench $75 endzone UOP $165 UCI $500 courtside (Talk about de-lusional) $220 general public $199 with required $50 donation. In other words a PSL. SB-Tix prices are fine. But the PSL price is de-lusional. $300 PSL and $135 for tix. $200 PSL and $135 for tix. $156 GA season tixs. Davis and UCR have updated their pages and do not list last year's prices. Member Posts: 3053 06/29/09 1:15 PM	Thanks for the link and I changed the post. But SB charges more for GA tickets ($156) than the Priority tickets ($135)? Yes, I know to buy those priority tixs you have to donate $200 or $300 but those ticket prices should be the other way around.

Member Posts: 16 06/29/09 8:11 PM	In order to sit in chairback seats at Mott Gym, you have to buy a "seat option": $800 per seat covers 5 years. You must also be a Stampede Club member at the $700 level or above.

So you have to be a club member, above $700 AND then play $800 per seat for 5 years, $160 a year. So $860 a year PLUS the cost of tickets? Roughly $1000!!!!! Oh, if you can't spread out that $800 over five years, that first year would cost. $800 PSL, $700 for Club, say $150 for season tickets. So about $2,500 for two seats???? Member Posts: 17 06/30/09 8:57 PM	The club package includes tickets. However, you do have to pay the 800 up front. So for two seats, it would be 2300 the first year and 700 every year after that. To be fair, the package also includes 2 tickets to a 2nd sport (usually football) and other assorted booster-type goodies (beer tent, parking, etc.). Edit: And to answer your first question, essentially yes, regular season ticket holders (non-boosters) are usually seated behind the baskets or in one of the end sections. Member Posts: 105 07/02/09 11:46 AM	In the AD Report this month, the Athletics Director for UCSB indicated that they'll have some new ticket plans this fall. I'm not sure if it'll be ticket plans solely for soccer since they were mentioned in the same few sentences. Or if they'll be ticket plans for all of the sports. Based upon the various consolidation marketing campaigns going on at UCSB, I'm guessing the new ticket plan (if it applies to all of the sports) will be something along the lines of a semi-custom all-inclusive package. I'm guessing the traditional ticket plan will stay in place. But there could be something like if you donate $200-500 you receive some tickets for some fall, winter and spring sports. In other words, there might be some ticket plans to encourage going to a lot more sports instead of just a few.

Member Posts: 3057 07/02/09 12:34 PM	For baseball at CSF, they charge $165 for season tixs. They do not have a PSL, but should charge a PSL for some of the better seats. Those box seats, front 2-3 rows are more like the dugout seats at Dodger Stadium. I think a PSL for $100 per seat is more than fair for baseball. I would doubt CSF would ever do this but it would be great if they did.

Member Posts: 1013 07/03/09 8:26 AM	For the blue box seats at Goodwin Field, you have to buy all of them in that group of seats and they usually try to get you to buy them for three years by giving you a discount instead of what the school would charge if you renewed on a yearly basis.
