			<description><![CDATA[ I&#39;m not sure any Rec Center will increase future donations significantly.  It helps.  I think the value of any Rec Center is to change from a perceived
view of commuter to resident univeristy.  It is simply, build the Rec Center first, then the dorms.  It is a decades long process.  For LBSU it is the way to
proceed.

What this has to do with the current state of athletics is beyond me, but TC continually brings up Rec Centers.  I&#39;m not sure why, other than he

in large enough numbers to make it worthwhile.

			<description><![CDATA[ I have a fairly unique perspective right now with regards to Rec Cen &quot;atmospheres.&quot;  CSUB&#39;s Rec Cen was recently completed this Spring and
I&#39;ll be going back in the fall for more classes.  I also graduated from UCSB as many on here already know.  UCSB&#39;s Rec Cen is under the auspice of
Physical Activities and Recreation (or whatever the title is now).  While CSUB&#39;s is more of a joint-venutre between ASI and the university.
