Wow!! CP finally makes a regional and now they can make it to Omaha but LB is done because they had one poor year? The Dirtbags did make the regional the year before but lost a ton of players due to draft and graduation so they did have a rebuilding year. CP, you have too short a memory because LB had a powerhouse team in 2008 but underperformed against Fresno State, the eventual CWS winner. CSF is 4th, Rice if 5th. Miami 6th, Stanford 7th, UNC 8th, ASU 9th, and Georgia 10th. Stanford finished 2nd, 3 times during the decade, 2 of those times, the one game championship format was in place, so they might have won a NC if the current 3 game format was in place.

Their 2000-2003 CWS run, was part of a 5 year run to the CWS, making it in 1999.

Stanford also had to go through the tough Western regionals to make the CWS. Two NC, 2 nd place finishes, 6 CWS apps.

OSU's back to back NC is certainly impressive but only 3 CWS apps in the decade, brings them to #3.

LSU 2 NC's though 8 years apart but by two different coaches. 5 CWS apps. #2.

CSF, Miami and Rice of course belong in the top 5-6 for team of the decade.
