			<description><![CDATA[ <font size="2">My guess is they don&#39;t double count points in those categories so the most points you get in a season is 40 before the bonus points kick in
for the second category.

Fullerton would only get 40 points for winning the national title in 2004.  125 points in the other five CWS seasons (25 x 5) for 165 total in the six CWS
seasons.  30 in the two super regional seasons (&#39;05, &#39;08) and 10 in the two regional seasons (&#39;00 and &#39;02).  205 points total.... ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ The SR era has changes things in college baseball.  You can&#39;t compare how many times teams went to the CWS this decade because with the SR era, it is
&quot;easier&quot; to make it to the CWS.  The old format was much tougher.

Now I wouldn&#39;t say LB is done, but CP hasn&#39;t done jack in terms of making the CWS, so do something before talking.  At least LB made the SR round this

			<description><![CDATA[ It&#39;s all about winning the NC.  Oregon St is #3 due to their back to back NC&#39;s.  Yes, they only made 3 CWS but they won two of them.  CSF was 1 for 6.

CSF is 4th, Rice if 5th. Miami 6th, Stanford 7th, UNC 8th, ASU 9th, and Georgia 10th.  You could switch ASU and UGa without too much disagreement but I give
ASU based on them getting out of the west to make it to the CWS and they got further in their trips to CWS. ]]></description>

Stanford finished 2nd, 3 times during the decade, 2 of those times, the one game championship format was in place, so they might have won a NC if the current 3
game format was in place.

Their 2000-2003 CWS run, was part of a 5 year run to the CWS, making it in 1999. 
<br>

Stanford also had to go through the tough Western regionals to make the CWS.  I believe Stanford beat CSF twice to make it to the CWS, 08 for sure and... ]]></description>

OSU&#39;s back to back NC is certainly impressive but only 3 CWS apps in the decade, brings them to #3.

LSU 2 NC&#39;s though 8 years apart but by two different coaches. 5 CWS apps.  #2.

CSF, Miami and Rice of course belong in the top 5-6 for team of the decade.
