I'm out of the loop, read the postings on here every week or two for updates but don't have access to the recruit threads. Can someone tell me where we stand on incoming players, have we signed a full class at this point?

Just read this article in the Seattle Times about former Dorsey player Charles Garcia who was a UW commit not being granted admission and is not going to be able to play there. It also says that he will likely play at Seattle U for Cameron Dollar who just...

i wish our full schedule would come out already. i'll most likely be at whatever game they play in the midwest or east coast.

Atleast they lost Brockman but they have alot of good perimeter players: Quincy Pondexter, Isiah Thomas, Justin Dentmon, and top 5 incoming recruit Abdul Gaddy, but if they are missing their shots, who knows!

Isiah Thomas does draw alot of fouls so (uh oh)

I'll remember never to say how nice it be for CSUN to play in DC again since I am begging so much and just a dying breed anyway. God I'm an awful person. Hey KD great to hear that we have two guys on the team from around here though that always gives me hope.

Speaking of dying breeds, has our #1 fan DD run out of eligibility? Are we recruiting some good JUCO stiffs (for ja) to replace his 50 let's go northridge, 40 taunts at the other team, and .2 ejections pg? 50-40-.2, that's a lot to make up! Maybe we just go the high school route and develop someone. Nah, let's just get a JUCO who is looking to make an immediate impact -- he needs to know that he is going to get major PT.

I wouldn't have gone on a rant if you had not kept begging for a game there, and then you called me out. I am sure that the schedulers don't care what we write here, they have enough trouble trying to get a competitive schedule.

i would love them to play in midwest but i am still not over the hangover from KC. i will be the new southwest airline fav customer and cannot wait to go to games.

Since we now have 2 players on the roster from Richmond, VA (McLemore and Daniel), I wouldn't be surprised to see a game in the DC area this year or next. On the other hand, Lyles is from Ohio, and Daniels and Fulton are from Missouri, so the midwest is probably a pretty good bet as well.

Ha I've never seen anyone go off on such a rant over another fans random hopes that they would get to see their team play a game locally. Believe it or not I dont think the CSUN schedulers look at this board and say "oh ydn wants a game in DC, lets do it...wait look at jigglys counterpoints, yeah lets not do it." As for those games it was Thanksgiving weekend for the one game...

YD, If you had gone to 1 of the 2 games last year I would have a little sympathy, but I am pretty sure you missed them. I don't know why you missed them but I am sure you have a reason.
We also don't have any players from the northeast region of the country. What would make more sense is somewhere down south for cordell or the mid-west for kenny daniels (I know the tourney game kinda did that).
The bottom line is unless we are gonna start recruiting the northeast, why go...

Jiggly, the team should come back east and in particular to the DC area so I can see them! What Matador fan living outside of California wouldn't want a chance to see the guys close to home? Im actually surprised by how many CSUN alumn live in the DC metro area. When Northridge played Maryland in soccer a few years ago there were actually around 200 CSUN fans at the game...again this was...

I want to see us play Texas Unis. Schools such as UT Arlington, A&M Corpus Christi, and North Texas would do a home-home with us. Playing Texas, A&M, Texas Tech, or Baylor would be great.

why should we go back east again, we did it last year with rider and drexler, they are like an 1-2 hours from the DC area. It make no sense to go there.

A friend who knows people in high places tells me we have tentative plans to play a pair of Pac 10 schools.
Washington is supposed to be on the schedule, along with a preseason NIT matchup @Arizona State.
