The root of the post had to do with Titan Czar predicting before the season started that the LBSU team would finish no higher than 5th in the conference standings. Can you change the settings so that there are like 20-25 responses per page within each thread page? Its a lot less discombobulating when there are fewer pages of posts per thread. I think the yuku default is like 10. No bueno.

We have a message board for a sport the Big West is awful in (basketball), can we get a forum for soccer, especially now with 4 out of the 7 men's soccer teams getting into the tournament?

Just one opinion, and I do appreciate our mod's efforts to improve this board, but I'd like to see this new 'featured topics' thing removed. It's not necessary (it was already easy enough to see which forums have new topics), and I think the first thing on the board should remain the dedicated Big West Basketball subforum, not a mix of topics from subforums all over the board. (Plus it pushes UCR's subforums EVEN further down the front page

I've always liked the links opening in new windows. With the new script that we are using on yuku, we have the option of either having it open in new windows (as it does now that I just changed it) or in the same window (as it did for the first few days at yuku).

Which do most prefer?

I'm leaning toward having it open in the same window because those who want it to open in a different window can always open it in a new window by right-clicking, but if it's...

Since the change to yuku, the links in the drop down menu, do not open in a new window. I liked the links opening in a new window. Don, I know it's a pain in the ass but could you fix that please?

"New Topic" Graphic busted

While some of the other buttons (e.g. New Poll, Add Reply) have an image for the link, New Topic just has text.

Looking at the source HTML, I notice that the URL for that image (looking at the img tag's src attribute) is formed differently (relative path) as opposed to the others (absolute path). Anyway, for New Topic, it appears that the URL is invalid, so it's showing the alt text.

Not sure if this is in the control of admins, or if it's some fubar in the...

YouTube provides the embedding code on each video's page. So do most of the other similar sites.

An example of the embedding code is copied and pasted below. (NOTE: I've added some line breaks here for clarity and to avoid the dreaded horizontal scroll bar. You won't have to do that in your posts)

Anyone know of any RSS feeds related to the Big West or individual Big West Schools/sports?

I haven't looked much, but I know that for UCSB there are multiple ones from the official site and at least one relevant one from the independent.

If so, please post a few. I'm thinking of making a big west page flakes or igoogle template during the summer (maybe I should fix the firefox menu too huh?)

I have a few questions/comments on the drop down menus.

1. Font - Why use a serif font when everything else on the page is sans serif? Consistency will help things look better.

2. The links. Is there any way the pull down menus could be real links? It seems like they are some kind of javascript kludge that will only cause a new window to pop up. If the address were visible in the status bar (like a normal href in html), then that would be nice. Then we could open the link in...

The new colors are too blue. Either lighten the blue or change the color of the text from white to another color that shows up well with this dark blue.
