The main thing that stood out to me is that Derick Flowers has a foot injury. Does anyone know how serious the injury is and how long he'll be out?

against UNLV. The injuries to two key players for LB could've been the difference though. I agree with the poster who said constantly pound it inside against LB. It will be the achilles heel for one more season.

Went to the first half last night......

I think we are gonna be real fans of Lenny Daniels. This kid can play (maybe our best player?).

I'd like to say he might be an improvement over Tremaine. He has alot of low post moves (ALOT), tremaine seemed to be scared of the paint a little while Lenny relishes it. Lenny also crashes the boards pretty well and is a solid free throw shooter. He doesn't stray from his comfort zone (the paint) and he looks like he's 12....

The Gauchos pulled away in the first half and never looked back. OJ showed little rust with 21 points, going 3-3 for 3 point shots, but missed a lot of free throws. He also had 3 blocked shots so he's working at both ends. Weiner the walkon showed he can also pass, dishing out 6 dimes, and Will Brew had 5 steals. Powell surprisingly had 6 rebounds, as did freshman forward Devenny.

Nunnally scored 13 points in 15 minutes off the bench. Serna and Joyner were out due to...

I just got back from watching our 2010 team workout at Cicerone Field. This is a very solid team all away around. In speaking with several people there, the biggest problem we saw will be only fielding nine players at a time. This team is absolutely loaded. That will cause Coach G to have a better coaching year than last. 'Eater fans should check them out for yourselves at the scheduled workouts as posted on the website (

UCR - looks like they're ready

I caught the game last night and was surprised to see how seamlessly the new guys gave fit in with the team. This was the quickest UCR team by far and now have the athletes to push the tempo. A teams that averaged about 60 last year scored well over a 100. I predicted Larry G. would be a huge force in this league and he didn't disappoint. The 2 centers combined for over 20 points and 20 rebounds. Against suspect competition to be sure, but still a solid showing...

Not sure if anyone saw the box score or heard the news, but JJ dropped 21 on UCLA (14 in the first 11 mins of the game) and Concordia only lost by 1 at Pauley

don't remember seeing or hearing him play this well since HS... but maybe it was one of those nights
